Three Sundays ago my mom told me not to make any plans that afternoon because there were people coming to see me. I had no idea what was going on. When they arrived we had a conversation about my trip, wishlist and fundraising goals. Little did I know they had a surprise from my wishlist. Marquis Broadwater, Executive Director of Enlightened Technicians: Association of S.T.E.M. Professionals walked to his truck, he came back with a box. He shared about the Enlightened Technicians mission and seeing a specific need for the GAP Year trip; he presented me with a computer donated by his nonprofit!
I’m so thankful to have met Marquis and Heather (my dad’s former youth group student who shared my list with Marquis!) I’m typing this post on their very generous donation! Thank you!!
