Guatemala has come to a close and I realized I haven't given a recent update, so here it is.
So, for the last 2 months both of the guys teams have been working for "One Way Community Guatemala" teaching english, soccer, doing house visits and manual labor. Towards the beginning of our time with One Way we built a house for a family and got to present the house to them, I have been coaching soccer every afternoon for the last month and a half ish, setting up drills and helping kids from the ages of 6-16 hone in their skills, the language barrier made it a tad hard to coach but by the grace of God and the help of my Guatemalan brothers I was able to do it.
Every Thursday we had a thing called activation where the AIM (Adventures in missions) staff taught us different things about God and then we went into the towns and villages and put those things into practice.
God has been teaching me patience, self control, what it really means to be slow to speak and slow to anger and how to dig into him more. I'm going to miss Guatemala a lot but hopefully I'll be back soon!
As we get ready to head to Eswatini Africa I'm praying that in our time on the same base and not a lot of time to leave God will continue to help me grow into more of the man he wants me to be, without holding back.
This may be the last update I'm able to give until I get back in the states because as far as we know there is no where to get wifi in Africa. Keep praying for me and my squad that we will just continue to grow closer and hold onto God tighter. Love you all!
Until the whole world hears!
